Join us for an evening of live music in celebration of the life of Jamie Blake-Thomas. Jamie sadly took his own life in June 2019, aged 24. We have chosen the occasion to coincide with what would have been his 25th birthday. As well as being a dear friend, for several years Jamie was also the guitarist and fellow songwriter for We Are Superheroes. In remembrance, and in support of mental health, the rest of the band will reunite to perform once again at the Main Hall in Oxted School. It was in that hall that Jamie first performed with a makeshift band of made up of Sam, Ben and Zac from Foyles house for a Battle of the Bands as part of the schools music inter-house back in 2009. After that show the band decided to continue and We Are Superheroes was born. Because of this we felt that the school hall would be a fitting location for the bands reunion. We are also extremely grateful and honoured to be playing alongside several other bands, composed of others that also knew and/or shared a stage with Jamie in the past. Together we’ll have enough music, food and booze to make Jamie proud. There will be hot food and a licensed bar (cash). Jam4Jamie update
28th February 2020A huge thankyou to everyone that was involved with Jam4Jamie. It was touching to see how many people came together to show their love and support. We're happy to announce that the success of this year's event has persuaded us to turn Jam4Jamie into an annual event that will continue to raise funds for CALM and other mental health charities.

Total money raised from our event 'Jam4Jamie' last weekend. Thank you to all who attended. It was a wonderful tribute to Jamie's musicianship and his time at Oxted School. We hope that this amount along with the rest of the money raised from this event page will be enough to contribute in helping save a young person's life.
